GERMANY
GERMANY
In the last 14 years of the sport no nation has dominated like
Germany. Although they have been blessed with great stars
like Gunter Moller, Fridolin Frost, Thomas Szartowicz, Oliver
Thienhaus, Alex Opri, Gerrit Lemkau and Harald Steck, the
German teams have been more than a collection of individuals.
One gets the feeling that if any one thrower were missing they
would still be favored to bring home the cup. Perhaps there is
one champion who does stand above all the rest though, 4 time
world Individual champ, 6 time world team champion Fridolin
Frost ...and he’s not done yet!

German Teams - 2008
After the first 2 days of the 2008 World Boomerang Championships, the German Team B-Motions posted solid performances in the first six events, establishing themselves in a dominant position to win the team competition. Although anything could happen Wednesday, B-Motions has a commanding lead and are expected to win the team championship yet again for Germany.
We have some exciting footage of the B-motions German team HERE and hope to have some video postings of the Swiss Skandal team Wednesday evening and possibly more. Stay tuned!
For any other team to win, they need to pick up 9 points from the remaining events. Given the overall quality of the B-Motions team, that might be very difficult to do. The competition is stiff though, where any of 8-9 teams could win a given event. It certainly is possible. Will anyone be determined enough to knock off the champs!
The Confluence - USA moved into 2nd place, passing the Rad Revolution - USA. The Swiss team Skandal had a great day of competition today to move up to 4th and Black Rabbit - USA is fifth. Click Here to see the official scoring results page for more.
